We've been asked to share this really cool opportunity to learn from organizers in the Appalachian region from the Institute of Social Ecology!
Join the Institute for Social Ecology for our 2025 intensive course! From August 2 to August 8, artists and activists will be gathering at artfarm in Lexington, KY for a week of intense radical political education. This weeklong program, jointly hosted with a number of Lexington-based grassroots organizations, has been assembled around the theme of The Art of Organizing.
We’ll be exploring together, through ideas and hands-on experimentation, the sweeping possibilities for art to build community, inspire the utopian imagination, and bring about revolutionary social transformation. It will be a week of movement building, political education and radical art - brining together indigenous pipeline resisters, tenant organizers, cooperators, abolitionists, feminists and more. Come learn, build and explore!
